Koolivoo originally traded as Golden Egg Communications Pty Ltd, which was established in 1998 and provided publicity services to the tourism industry.

A shift in 1999 to concentrate on full marketing services including UK / Ireland market development for ATS Pacific and progression of a marketing platform for Tropic Towers Cairns. It was also in this year that the developers of a residential complex contracted Golden Egg Communications to evolve their vision for a full 4.5 Star resort.

Over five years The Lakes Cairns Resort and Spa was transformed from an old cane field to an awarding winning 385 apartment property, clearly ranked in the top 3 in Cairns by the independent Trip Advisor.

Golden Egg Communications established, managed and marketed the resort, with staff growing from 1 on opening day to over 120 presently, room nights sold over 80,000 per year and revenues reaching $12.5M. Importantly investor's returns were significantly above market ranging from 6 - 10%.

In 2003 Golden Egg Communications identified a gap in the Cairns product range attracting a new breed of over 50s, whose travel values where not being met, which resulted in the strategic alliance with Downunder Tours.

Koolivoo was launched in 2005 as the new trading name of Golden Egg Communications Pty Ltd and the alliance with ATS Pacific to grow the luxury markets.

In early 2006 Koolivoo formed an alliance with ATS Pacific to develop The Ultimate to do List - Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. Twelve months later 50K significant publications where distributed by 10 key partners resulting in new revenues of close to $3million.

In 2007 Koolivoo achieved:

•    Launched branding - Elite Australia Experiences Alliance with Outback Encounter and Produced 50K White Labelled Publications and Online Catalogues for EAE Partners
•    Developed and Designed an Australia Publication with Turquoise Holidays UK
•    Developed and Designed an Indian Ocean Publication with Linara Travel USA,
•    Developed a Specific Tourism Specific Content Management System for Africa Adventure Company Fort Lauderdale USA
•    Produced am Australian programme for the Korean Market.

In 2008 we achieved:

•    Re launched The Ultimate to do List - Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
•    Developed and Designed an “Australia The Movie” Publication and Website with The Stella Group Globally.
•    Developed a Specific Tourism Specific Content Management System for Outback Encounter Australia. 
•    Produced the Mainstream Australia New Zealand programme for six global partners.

In 2009 we achieved:

•    Launched The Ultimate to do List – Southern and Eastern Africa for six global partners.
•    Launched Elite Indian Ocean for six global partners.
•    Launched Ultimate Honeymoons of the Pacific Ocean and Asia for seven partners.
•    Produced the Mainstream Australia New Zealand programme for six global partners.
